Alarm operation FL 2, SE, 2012

Hi, reading a lot of time but never posted anything Smile

I own a new FL SE and have a question regarding the Alarm operation.
I often drive with my window open and when locking the car i only press the button once (as in my former car) BUT the window will stay open...and the car is not Totaly secured. Embarassed
Absolutely NOT acceptable!

If i understand the handbook correctly there a 3 ways to trigger the alarm

1. pressing the button once - Perimetical alarm - doors closed, windows will stay open, still able to open from inside

2. pressing the button twice - Total alarm, doors closed, windows will stay open, unable to open from inside, car totaly ´untouchable´...

3. Comfort alarm: pressing the button during 3 seconds, will close all windows and enter into perimetrical alarm.

Here is the question: HOW do i change from the ´Comfort Alarm´ into the ´Total Alarm´??

The only way I found out was:
- reopen the car pressing once
- closing the car pressing twice
That makes 4 times pressing the button in order to close all windows and enter into TOTAL alarm.
Not practicaly, very easy to forget.

Has anybody found out a different way or a hint?

Brgds from sunny Brazil Thumbs Up
Stefan

press the button twice, but keep it held down on the second press to close the windows Idea

or even better, close the windows before turning the engine off and getting out, they'll auto close whilst your parking and you don't need to hang round pressing buttons and making sure they fully close

Alarm ops FL2 SE

Hi
First my FL SE 2012 does not have a sunroof.
I sat into the car, looked myself in(2 times button push) waited for a minute and started jumping around!
Nothing happens!

So, there is no volumetric alarms (even mentioned in the handbook , I can see no sensors at all!
Question: are there hidden Sensor different form the ones shown in the picture w/the cars wo/sunroof?

Otherwise i will contact LR Brazil tomorrow regarding the false advertisement!

Thanks again your help
Brds Stefan from Brazil

If fitted it will be like the 2nd picture in post number 5
Even if you do not have the Sunroof option the sensor if fitted will be in the same position.

You have 'perimetric' alarm (doors, boot, bonnet and maybe tilt), but some models/exports do not have 'volumetric' (inside movement)
