Just thought I would write a quick note about the new car! After having a new style Kia Sportage for a while it soon became apparent that 'cheap with lots of toys' is not necessarily the way to go. I have now changed to a MY2013 Freelander 2 GS and, well, fantastic! So much better! I am really impressed so far and hope this continues. Yes I have lost a few gadgets but that is hardly the end of the world. I have also enjoyed looking through the forum so far! Lots of relevant info!

I thought I would miss the reversing camera however rear visibility is a lot better in the Freelander. The Sat Nav was rubbish so no loss their. Auto wipers were a bit hit and miss.
Honestly, the two I miss are the auto-dimming mirror; it makes such a difference at night! Auto headlights, I keep forgetting to switch them on!
