4x4 servicing in Kent?

Apoligies if this has been discussed else where... I looked but couldnt find what I was after.

Its that time when I need to get my 57/2008 FL2 serviced. Ive owned it a year after buying from a main dealer. However after paying for a 45k, 5 yr service with them in January, I dont really fancy paying out to let them do the 60k one.

So my question is, can anyone recommend a company near to Sittingbourne, Kent that I could try? I did a google search and found a company called Mudsport 5 mins down the road... any one used them?

Cheers
Aaron

i used halfords auto centers on my old 56plate FL2, in Tonbridge, good service, great price - especially this time of year.

it is worth checking point by point what they cover...

each to their own......

I always thought Halfrauds was also known amongst mechanics as "The Early Learning Centre" I would struggle to let them change a bulb.
The main dealers prices are not fixed in stone and you get good service try price matching with your local LR dealer.

With the Halfords centres it depends (like many garages) who the mechanics are. My local one has been taken over so many times (Rex, Nationwide, RAC etc.) but one or two of the original fitters are still there and are guys who I would trust to do a good job. In fact, a main dealer with which I am familiar has of recent times had a number of experienced fitters leave and to save money they have brought in new apprentices.....maybe they are now and Early Learning Centre. John

Have used land rover solutions in Hersden near Canterbury for my FL1 and always had good service.

I believe the discovery garage in Whitstable is good too.

I have used RCV for my FL2 even in warranty. Can't fault them at all.

I can vouch for RCV as well. They are fine. Had my last 3 services done there, another due in January so will be giving them a ring in a few weeks. Don't worry about being over in Sittingbourne, they have some courtesy cars that you can book.
