Maybe this topic (Service reset) qualify for a sticky status?...
And if it is possible to merge the numerous threads on the same subject in just one in Maintenance & Modifications or Technical?...

What does the service interval counter look like? (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.

Tried to reset the oil servive but it wont reset the mileage

i followed the instructions and I can get the date reset but it gives me a message saying it cant reset the distance.
It is a first service and I was 750 miles past the distance but surely that should not stop me being able to reset it ?
any suggestions ?

Quote from the manual:
NOTE: The distance trigger will not reset if the distance the vehicle has traveled is less than 20% of the next service interval value.

"service interval value"

Service interval value is 15000 miles by default, from what I'm remembering...
So it won't reset if you traveled less than 3000 miles since the last reset...

I do about 4000 a year or there abouts. I have had no problem in resetting the service settings either by the reset counter way or using my diagnostics meter Thumbs Up

Another useful tip I found on here was the "Oil Service" reset. Be Censored if I can find the thread now to suggest adding it here but maybe someone else knows how to do it. I jave purchased the Nanocom Evolution which takes care of this procedure
