Land Rover Experience Day - Market Harborough

Had my LR Experience 1/2 day today at Rockingham Castle, Market Harborough....an excellent venue, and taken round by the forum's very own 'rchrdlleigh' Very Happy

Had a great day there, so my thanks for some excellent instruction, and the chance to see what these vehicles can really do...I was astounded at their overall capability! If any of you get the opportunity and haven't already, then get yourselves booked in here....well worth it speaking from personal experience! Even SWMBO was impressed, which says a lot!, Whistle

Anyway, a few Pics below....enjoy!

Badger,

Very Happy Thumbs Up

Thanks for the kind words it was good to meet you and show you something of what the Freelander can do. Glad you both enjoyed your Experience.

I was also there that day, and was out in the silver Freelander in the morning with Rich.
I can echo Badgers comments that the freebie has tremendous abilities off-road, even more so in some situations where is 1 ton less bulk than a RR helps it.

In the afternoon we got to take out a RR and wow that car has some capabilities on and off road. The air suspension gives it such a dynamic range that it can vary it self to any situation, and its on road dynamics are phenomenal for such a large and heavy car.

In your first two pics Badger thats my black FL2, which on the way back from the experience up to Chesterfield proved ideal for going through a number of flooded roads and one ford that was 3 foot deep (proud of myself for creating an ideal bow wave).

Thanks again Rich Bow down Freelander 2 HSE Lux SD4 - Sumatra Black

Great day out, and I plan to do it again next year. Foraging near Gaydon....
