52% increase in hp! When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |

Why ? its the exact same engine and hardware as the 190bhp version car! only some 2wd version differes with some low power injectors fitted in comparion to the 4wd and then only they are flowed slightly different and hence timed fractionally differently to the 190bhp (see picture below) injectors which leave only the internals of the engine and box the same as the 190.

It would be nice to increase it by 52% i would be concerned about the effect on other components, they are designed for 190 not 228, do you have a dyno at your workshop it would be interesting to see some test results confirming the stated fiqures. Chris yours is not a DW12 engine so you dont need to be concerned at all as it does not effect your model Regarding the differences hardware is already explained to you and here are the standard calibrations of the 150 and 190 they are both here in factory format which can be opend in many tuning softwares like WinOls to see clearly the REDUCTION from a 190bhp car to a 150 for the above probabally reasons. www.bellautoservices.co.uk/public/DW12-1502wd-1904wd.rar Regarding the dyno yes yes and yes, I have also just to boot personally owned my self an Evoque for the last 12 months of which has had many runs on the dyno for durability and power testing. I can assure you I have done my home work and testing before posting here lol Pete Last edited by bell-auto-services on 23rd Nov 2012 11:25 pm. Edited 2 times in total |

In my time on these forums I have read lots of post by Pete and read lots of reviews of his remaps, one thing that seams constant is the good feed back and the fact Pete seams to buy a car to test it, he ran a D4 and sorted that, swapped to a Evoque and looks like that's now sorted

Here is a bit of an old artical on the Evoque tuning that may interest a few. As said in another thread this tuning offered today is no big news really as we have being working on it over a year with the execption that now its ALL by OBD

What do you tell your insurance company? It is a modification from manufacturer's spec so you have to.
