The fl2 has finished 19th in the driver power 2008 survey an major improvement on the fl1 at no.95. Where as the new disco managed to come in second overall up from 92nd.

However it is an odd survey with the rover MG ZT in fourth and the pointless toyota prius in 10th

The Freelander did particuarly well overall in Ease of Driving, Ride Quality and Comfort - a testimony to its premium quality.

Land Rover, as a manufacturer, made a significant improvement moving 12 places (more than any other car firm!) up to 15th place overall. They claimed this improvement was down to "A new Freelander and more reliable Discovery".
