He pulled over later and I had a word - offered to escort him until he turned off to avoid an accident Bow down

Then a Censored decided to overtake over the solid double line with no visibility Evil or Very Mad

yes I would agree, lucky you were there Muddy with your headlights on the tractor, otherwise that idiot may have ploughed ( excuse the pun ) straight into the back of it.

just goes to show the value of the onboard camera.

The tractor ought to have had a flashing beacon on the roof, really, ideally, essentially. Rolling Eyes

flashing beacon would have helped indeed, there are always idiots out there Confused
flashing beacons are legally required on dual carriageways, not a legal thing on other roads. too many idiots use them all the time so other drivers get used to even small tractors flashing . I only use mine when towing a wide load or visibility is poor/dark

hard working chap however, out there ploughing a furrow in the dark , hoping to plant some more crops in this terrible year and help feed the nation Bow down At work

oh yes I notice that now Laughing trouble is farming in this weather is morale sapping, every field job is more of a bodge than a proper operation, theres a 50% chance the slugs will eat all the seeds anyway, and in many fields its is a matter of seeding a second time after a crop failure so thats a bad start in the first place. the river decided to flood and rot 20 acres of my crops days after I sew them.

I swear if I get stuck behind even one caravan in the next few weeks my head will explode At work

Cheque should arrive 1st Dec Whistle , not great really as the tax man will reclaim most of it, and 1/3 of the farm remains to wet to plant crops.
subsides are down this year for UK farmers due to the euros value, but better that than living in the Eurozone. At work
