My name is Tom, I am currently in my final year studying Automotive Design at Coventry University and I conducting research into emotional attachment into cars to implement into a design for my final project.

Here are two the surveys (they only take a minute):

Item 6 difficult to answer as i have no emotional attachment to my car as it has none to me.
It's a big peice of engineering that needs maintainence.
That's all it is. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Done - really interested in the product of your work - I can kind of see where you are going, in which case I think you cannot but help factoring in the financial side of things!

As for naming your car...this is one of many questions I would love to ask but I am limited in questions...and unfortunately time too (design work starts after xmas).

Worm, I'm currently waiting on permission from the admin for the BMW forums so fingers crossed I can get those up soon.

You are all welcome to visit the degree show running from May till mid June, hopefully you'll spot my stuff! Otherwise I'll track you down come summer and send you some images.
