if it ent broke don't fix it just give the engine a little present some 2 stroke oil, injector cleaner and egr cleaning spray and you will prob find it'll be good When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |

Cheers guys, I will leave it. The technician from LR I spoke to said it may even have been a bit of crap stuck which prevented it closing fully, therefore going out of spec and putting the light on.

Might be a good idea to get some EGR cleaner. Easy to use. Even Halfrauds sell it

i would put some egr cleaner through the engine and would also put a tank of shell vpower diesel and run it on that for a week or so you will notice an improvement rainy-city

I will add some EGR cleaner. But she has run constantly on V Power diesel since August 2007 with th exception of the half a tank of French ! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

I do a lot of driving in France and I use supermarket diesel there. Never had a problem but maybe its because I always use two stroke oil as well. John

I've done a lot of driving in France using supermarket fuel I don't use two stroke oil and I've never had a problem at all with any of my Land Rovers ______________________
