Trouble was Nick eat big breakfasts and dinner while in the Lakes. Not to mention ale by the bucket load.
As a result he put on 4 stone. Taz and I eat salads and drank herbal tea. Therefore Nick needs to remain ill 'till Christmas Rolling with laughter

Myself and Martin were discussing the entries the other day, with the ones that were submitted there was some very good contenders, but did not have the variety to make a calendar, as they were very similar style, I don't think it helped that there was only white, silver and black FL2's pictures submitted.

I'm not sure if there will be a calender this year, but there was talk about opening a submission thread to include the ones already submitted, and have it run all year for 2014, so we get summer, winter, spring autumn, off roading, creative

I know some people might take a photo, and not wish it to be used in a calender for copyright reasons or personal preference, but I would have like to see some of Vesko's or LRswe photos in there, but sadly there wasn't

Not 100% on whats going to happen, but that was the gist of our discussion, so hopefully Martin will confirm

Thanks Nick for replying here - although there were 40+ entries, many of those were repeated, very similar photos from a small number of users.

Once the near-duplicates were taken out there were so few images that it isn't worth putting it to a vote or going to the effort of putting a calendar together - particularly as the interest in the 2013 calendar doesn't appear to be there, so investing in a large number of calendars to be printed is simply not viable.

Running a 9 or 10 month entry process for 2014, and regular competitions to encourage photo taking and submission will hopefully create some more interest and a wider variety of images Very Happy

I think it was just a little late for this year, sadly Sad Embarassed

Nick's made a good point to me about not losing the photos from this year that people did make the effort to take and submit.

Would there be any interest in voting on the photos uploaded for 2013 to select a SINGLE photo for a product, or are there any objection to rolling them over to 2014?
