I believe it is the same drivetrain, my SD4 has absolutely no vibration in 'Drive' with foot on the brake. |

Not normal and not a characteristic of the 4 Evoques I've driven.

I take it its an automatic. My first thought would be a problem with the torque converter pump As you engage drive. Its also possible the duel mass flywheel is failing.

Sounds like the car is trying its hardest to drive away, maybe the idle speed is a little high, sometimes as the engine runs in and gets freed up the speed can rise a little? |

The chap is from Edinburgh, and there is only two franchise dealers in the area. One has a good feedback rating, the other not so much. |

Have you listened in the engine bay ? Seems weird that you can feel it in your pants you should leave things like that at home

Greetings Pegleg and Superspark. The dealer ship changed the torque convertor, it still viberates, stationary or on the move. Land Rover say its a characteristic and will not authorize any more work on it. It is now one week out of warranty. |
