I had a visit from the LR electrical gremlins yesterday.

Drove in to town (12 miles) no problem, but leaving to come back it was immediately obvious that something was amiss, with relatively little response from the engine. A quick look at the dash showed why - the car was in Mud & Ruts mode (although the selector itself had the 'normal' setting illuminated). I selected normal mode, and the dash display showed 'special programmes off' - immediately followed by 'Mud & Ruts selected'. Repeat several times with the same result. Eventually, because the HDC light was also flashing, I pressed the HDC button and that cleared everything - a surge of acceleration as M&R cleared, and all was well again.

I hope that's not a sign of imminent problems!
