I am getting tired of never having enough space in the boot to fit all my toot in. I am now looking to create a solid parcel shelf that spans from window to window at the rear, coming in to the back of the rear headrests. Just wondering if anyone had taken on this project in the past or any other information would be much appreciated!

No, but have you thought of the safety aspect of it.
Will this high up 'toot' be netted down or will it be able to fly forward under heavy braking

the toot in question is genereally quite heavy about 25lbs in all and is quite an odd shape that certainly would not pass the back of the headrests under any circumstance. so i am not worried about the safety aspect. thank you for your concer though,

Get some thick Perspex cut to shape for a load shelf and a cargo barrier to prevent it killing you or your passangers in a big accident

search Alona on here he did the above mods due to having twins and needing to put extra bay stuff in the boot etc, note he used a dog guard to prevent low flying toot.
