EE Network

Does anyone have any experience of these? I am on o2 at the moment and been happy with things but on 15th of December I am eligible for an upgrade as my contract expires in January. Defo going for a white iPhone 5 after having the iPhone 4 for 2 years but I wondered about this new network.

Any thoughts? LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I'm with T-Mobile/EE but I think the 4G is too pricey. Cheapest plan is £30+ and that's for 0.5 Meg of data which 4G will eat in no time. The problem is that EE have no competition till early next year!

I bought an unlocked iPhone 5 fromApple as long term it's cheaper than a contract. When my current contract ends I'm probably going to drop on to a PAYG.

Currently my contract is about £50/month and I can get the same data/text/voice minutes on PAYG for about £15/month!

I'd love 4G but I think I'll wait a while till I jump in.

BTW the iPhone 5 is great. I upgraded from a 4 (not 4S) and the improvement is significant! Discovery 4 HSE - Aintree Green

The 4 network is only for data, I heard that its a bit patchy in places. And while on 4g eats the battery, prob best to wait until January when other networks role it out

I have been on Orange for a while, since the transition to EE, I have noticed a reduction in service, more dropouts, patcher service, I wonder if they have sacrificed something for the 4G stuff.

I've also noticed that the 3G service has been patchier/down on strength since EE 4G launch day.

I rue the day I left O2 for T-Mobile. Stupidly I went with them because they were the only ones who had the particular Windows 7 Phone I wanted Big Cry

I soon learned the error of my ways and was back on an iPhone within 6 months. Unfortunately it's been a 2 year contract Sad Discovery 4 HSE - Aintree Green
