That was my thinking that if it was one wheel at a time the it wouldnt be all the weight bearing down on the jack/stand. |

I seem to recall LR specify minimum 1.5 tonne for a trolley jack for the FL2, so 2 tonne should be sufficient. One hears stories about the quality of some jacks, though, particularly the quick-lift type, so I went for a 3 tonne non-quick-lift from Machine Mart. It's heavy, but lifts the FL2 with ease. |

2T should be ample, but be careful the FL2 is quite high off the floor, lots of jacks don't lift high enough.

D3 owners mostly use the Machine Mart 3000G, probably bigger than you need but better safe than sorry, they also do some good stands too. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.
