Would you believe it! Just found a screw embedded in the wall of the front n/s tyre, looks like the tyre might be ruined, it's not done two hundred miles yet. does anyone know if the LR roadside assistance applies to such mishaps when the car is at home. Big Cry

Did you get tyre insurance?
Not sure about Roadside, never used it.

Don't recall anything about tyre insurance, will phone the dealer tomorrow but I suspect I'll have to grit my teeth and pay up

Bummer, I had a woodscrew puncture 2 weeks back with just enough air for me to drive it one mile to a tyre place. Right in the middle of the tread and with no sidewall damage due to driving on it, repaired for £20 and saved me £170 for a new Pirelli Smile

2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

I had a small sidewall puncture in a brand new tyre a few months back. A local tyre supplier sent it away to be "revulcanised" cost about £50.
I can find no sign of the hole or the repair.

AA man said the tyre was a write off he has taken the wheel and is bringing it back later, cost, about £210

Congratulations! Having looked at the pics in your gallery now I can see why Grand Black trim may be an issue. I don't think it suits an almond interior. Wood finish would be much better IMO.
