ooooo nice boots! When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |

I considered those when browsing The North Face website but opted for the Arctic Hedgehog boots even though they were dearer. I just like the style more and got them for £96 which saved a fair amount off the RRP LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I find that once I've found something comfy it's best to stick to the same make. Quite a lot of trainers and boots don't seem to fit my feet - Salomon trainers and Scarpa boots were both painful and had to be given away. On the other hand I wear North Face almost every day, have found Brashers best for walking (but won't take crampons) and for general waterproofness Lundhags are great, but put Lambswool insoles in to keep warm. Because they are waterproof however the feet can't breathe and I can't wear them for more than about ten miles without blisters. Friends swear by Scarpas, so it must just be my feet that are weird!. |

My brashers were comfy but the latest style of the same shoe wasn't to my liking so I've ended up with trainer style till I find something else, it's more for everyday and walking around campsites wet grass I need them for, as the wife still says no to the purchase of a dog |
