Of course its not unknown for them to have nicked the CCTV camera, like on the way in, before nicking the phone.

More for identification purposes, if anything happens again, but the wouldnt be able to get to cameras due to location of them, but need to chat at the office tomorrow to see what's needed, staff views of CCTV in office, one wouldn't even give the police her date of birth, and would only write it down for them Shocked pathetic when the person who pays her Censored wages was just robbed Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Not sure on what happens with apple products when reported lost, I know O2 blocked its sim and IMEI

He'll be contacting his bank as I think his account offers phone cover, if not his house policy does, or he'll just buy a new one or use his old iPhone4 Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Nick,

Swann DVR8-2800 We have a very similar kit outside a satellite chapel of our church located in a shopping street, comprising 2 PTZ cameras and 2 fixed cameras which we installed after a theft of lead from the roof which has not happened since.
However in 9 months use the police have used video evidence from our system to
1-aprehend a toe rag who held up the local co-op as he parked his car within camera range and was seen entering the car at the time of the robbery. It helped that as they say "he was previously known to the police"
2-arrest another toe rag who jumped into the co-op delivery truck and nicked (sorry) a large carton of fags.Co-ops own fault for leaving it unattended

Can say that picture quality in daylight hours is good but not checked it at night. Will do so if you would like me to.
I also understand from our Vicar that if the local toe rag climbs onto the chapel roof the sytem sends and alert to his I phone and also transmits picture to him so he can check if it is the local moggy before he rings the fuzz.

We installed it ourselves because as with all churches we do not have the budget for a professional installation, but if I were you I would definitely be taking up landy 19840,s offer.

My Kguard sends me an email with screenshot of whatever tripped the motion detector. Although Landy doesn't like it, it's a great bit of kit, and my neighbour has had the same system and swears by it. Best of all, Maplin set all the port forwarding, email, and iphone/ipad app stuff up for you remotely if you want (£25).

I quite like the look of the 2800, for my own home with The remote 360 ,camera but the 3000 seams quite a good bit of kit too for the price

Will be comparing system on what landy posted as see what happens, the office staff don't seem to mind it been installed too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

They all look good Nick. That's the one thing I think I will add to my set up, a good Ptz camera.
