When it comes to declaring factory/dealer fitted extras, how would you know on a used car? I bought mine second hand. It has a towbar which I don't use but which I have declared. I have no idea whether there are any other extras fitted. Nor would anyone else buying second hand unless they seriously need to get out more... |

car insurance prices in scotland seem to be a lot cheaper than england i wonder will scotland still be cheaper to insure a vehicle in if and when it becomes independant i wonder what are peoples views are in england on should they still get payment subsidies from the uk or should independent mean what it says and they should be self supporting, rainy-city

Self supporting, and we should make hastened repairs to 'Hadrians Wall' to repel the 'savages' and protect our women. |

No you will need to pay extra for "Europe" cover whenever you come to England. And of course buying an English car will mean exporting to Scotland, reregistering etc. You may have to take a leaf from the Irish and resort to importing dodgy Defenders with recent paint jobs and no documents |

Just renewed mine with Esure £426. LV wanted £400 but that was without disclosing any upgrades, so wasn't competitive to go any further with that one. More Than sent an invitation to join them with a big heading saying that they are the most competative on the market and 80% of More Than customers pay £180, where they get that from I haven't a clue as thy quoted £680 |
