Dodgy interior light???

Just picked up SWMBO's MY2013 FL2 Dynamic in Mauritius Blue, amazing bit of kit, much better than her 2010 FL2 and am having a few 'issues' with the interior light.
No matter what position I have the switch on the light I cannot get it to come on when I open the doors!!!
Any bright (sic) ideas ???

Possibility there is no bulb in there at all. Either way it was a poor pre delivery check by the dealer.

Do any of the other interior lights come on? Boot one is a good check.

Can you get the lights to come on when using the switch? If so its not going to be a bulb problem, dealer should of noticed this though...

OK by way of an update.....
yes the bulbs are all present cos I can get them to illuminate using the rocker switch but not when the doors open.
It is both interior lights i.e. front and back both behave the same way.
Footwell, boot and puddle lamps all work when doors open.
Took it back to the dealer from where it came from.
They plugged it in to the 'magic box' and after half an hour pronounced it had a wiring fault so had to book it in.
Not a happy bunny Big Cry
Oh and the handbook is about much use as a proverbial chocolate fire-guard, it refers to 'holding the switch down for 3 seconds' er.... that is the HSE not the Dynamic
