I just purchased a Freelander 2 from a Landrover Approved dealership up in Scotland and I'll be collecting it next month and driving it all the way down to Malta and I was wondering if anyone knows of a Landrover Specialist along the way where I can purchase used accessories for my FL2, mainly I need a Tow Bar with light fittings; a set of Roof Bars; Back door spoiler and maybe side rubber strip protectors.

Thanks for the reply. Well, Id prefer if they were used but if this is not possible then Im prepared to go for new. Whats more important really is to be able to go to one place and be able to purchase everything from there - One Stop Shop in a sense.. I really have no time to go from one place to another and if I have to stay ordering these parts from Malta then its going to cost me loads in shipping.

Cant the approved dealership in Scotland supply it all before you leave?
If youre buying the car from them they may give you some sort of a deal on the accessories, or some of them at least?
Long way to come all the way from Malta to buy a Land Rover, was that the nearest dealer you could find?

Thanks npinks for the info on Duckworths Parts, checked their website and they seem to be well stocked. Sent them an email and well see what comes of that.

Checked ebay and all I managed to find are a complete Roof Rail Kit which is pretty much what I want, so might go for that if Im not successful anywhere else.

@ Mona Geeza, I did in fact ask the dealership in Scotland and was told at that time that their parts were pretty expensive and would probably get a better deal elsewhere... To be honest, it just doesnt make sense at this point and Im thinking I might ask him to quote me anyway. As for why I bought my FL2 from such a far away place... well, in my opinion it was a good deal with low mileage and a good price from a Land Rover Approved Dealership with all the guarantees etc. The other reason is the excitement of driving it down all the way from Scotland... Wow, can't wait
