It's this sort of pics that are convincing me to go the Land Rover route for my next car. |

Swaying between an Evoque and the MY13 FL2. Went to the dealers today for a test drive in the Evoque and I was very suprised how differently it handled from my FL2. Its manual gearbox was so slick and smooth with the handling on corners being superb. Also found out that they have ditched the TD4 engine and my only option is the SD4 which I found to be no different from the TD4 in my FL2

I was thinking of a practical and affordable choice, I'd dismissed unattainable exotica such as the Dacia Sandero; that'll just have to remain a pin up on the bedroom wall until the lottery comes in.... |

I can't argue with a word of that.... I think that we are seeing the downside of the popularity of the Evoque. Ironically, with the price of factory running 3 shift and to full capacity, the cars are bing produced at the lowest possible cost per unit, but the temptation to take advantage of the favourable demand and stick in some price increases must be overwhelming for them. |

Is that a real crome exhaust I see? Unlike the old rubishy fake ones on the HST kit.... |

I'm afraid it is fake and I take your point about it looking tacky. I had it on my previous car and was not sure about fitting it on this one, it's only held on by two grub screws and I think will remove it forthwith |

To be honest I prefer the 2011 model over the MY13 |
