still wise the car doesnt have to move much to tip over a jack. (defenders also roll if you jack them, I learnt that one from experience) At work

Because they also have a transmission handbrake. Same applies to army 4-tonners (and that's some roll!)

Seriously, the only time I would ever rely on a jack alone is changing a wheel, and then I try to make the operation as slick as possible. Feel that sway as the trucks race past at 60!
