I've walked some of that trail in my time when I lived in CPT.......it's difficult enough on foot, and the odd waterfall makes for a pleasant refreshing cool-down! How did the Freelander cope overall? Were you pleased with its performance? Foraging near Gaydon....

Yes, very pleased. I managed to average about 30km/h, and had a fuel consumption of 9.5 l/100km. No rattling during the entire trip, except for some keys that was lying in the central console
