United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey
Freelander 2 - towbar removal

Hi there

I have an 11 plate Freelander 2 which is fitted with the standard Land Rover towbar and plug in electrics. My circumstances have changed and I may have to sell the vehicle. I am considering removing the towbar as I may be trading the vehicle into a garage. Does anyone have a copy of the fitting instructions. I am fairly competent at diy and want to know if this is an easy enough job and how long it should take to complete.

Thanks

towbar removal

I did the same on my 2010 model when I did a PX on it, the removal was easy, I can't comment on its refitting as I haven't done it yet and SWMBO is carping about not being able to fit her bike rack Laughing . All that said the bar I removed was a Witter but I'd guess they are fitted / bolted in a similar way. 2010 TD4e S manual Alaska White - Gone
