Update exterior badges??

Hi all..

Had my freelander 2 few months now and still happy with it.. But been thinking of updating some parts for fresher look..

Has anyone replaced the green badges with the new black range rover ones yet?? Ive had a look on ebay but didint realise so many sizes.. Are there any that would fit the f2

Also the actual freelander 2 lettering on rear tailgate.. Are these just stuck in place with adhesive??

Any info would be great thanks...

Neil

difficult one a few have tried, FL2 badges are a different size to the blackones made for other LR vehicles.

A forum member in germany made some if I remember,

Desto,
You can get the side pillar badges off ebay in black and silver, I got these last year and they were pretty easy to fit.

I haven't found any Black and Silver badges for the front and rear yet but was thinking of getting some custom made from here: http://www.heko.co.uk

on ebay: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150910006881

I removed my Green and Gold badges / holder with a flat screwdriver, then removed the gold / green badge from the holder by worknig around the edge with a small electrical type screwdriver. Fitted the new badges into theholder then fixed to the car.

If I were to do it again however I would NOT remove the badge holder. Simply remove the gree / gold badge while it is still on the car and fix the new badges in place. Takes about 5 mins
