Know what you mean about consumption... Was hitting 42mpg in my manual, struggling to get 32mpg today and taking it easy. Hopefully that will improve as everything starts to loosen up.

My SD4 seems to average 32-35 mpg around town and short motorway trips. Enjoy the car.

Acquire a spoiler and it will finish it off a treat, makes a big difference
