Meeting here at 10:30 Saturday morning, car park is free and quieter than town.

10 miles from Ambleside on the Kirkstone Pass road, easy access from all directions.

Weather looking like showers so need waterproofs, the route will be looked at on the morning, depending on weather and cloud conditions, over high passes not brilliant for photos in thick fog. Plenty of other photo opportunities around though.
Lunch will be burgers and a brew, if you want to bring anything else then please do.

Overnight for some is in Cockermouth where local ales will be sampled Thumbs Up

Look forward to meeting up with some of you again

Come on Nick, get them on Flickr.

Last time we went to photo ashness bridge, I saw a path leading up the hill to the left and ended up at wray crag (the mrs wasn't overly happy after slipping on her bum in a little stream) with amazing views over the lake. The next time we went walking up Catbells and that was truly fantastic.

Been looking at mine for Ashness bridge

Unless I suddenly know how to photoshop professionally I don't think they be shown, people in them, the long one under the bringe water washed out and too bright, tried using one of the others but that's Censored too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Some HDR from the event. Not to everyone's taste and I'm not sure either.
Non HDR also shown underneath. Which do you prefer?
