what a waste of time

I spend 7 hours cleaning my car on Saturday , machine polishing and getting a good layer of sealant on it for the winter months, car looks great Cool

Go out on Sunday, have to cut through the single track roads as the A64 was blocked coming home, get to drive through muddy puddles Sad

then the car in front throws up a stone or something, flys up into the air 4 car lengths behind, and crack thats a new windscreen Big Cry

then just a second ago a old lady parks next to my car and her car door slips out of her hand and bang, red Censored paint left on my rear door, she shouldn't have even been parking there, she was visiting her daughter across the road, not any of the businesses Evil or Very Mad

Daughters popped across and said they would pay for any damage, and it does look to be just paint transfer, not dented, but something else i now need to sort out

Told her, her mother shouldn't have been parking there in the first place, its parking for the businesses, she should have park out on the road out side her property, or on her empty driveway Rolling Eyes

Her answer, "She can't reverse, so couldn't park there," She's going to have to reverse out of the car parking spot next to my car, even if she parked on the road outside her daughters house, she would not have had to reverse, she shouldnt be Censored driving Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

daughter been over and moved the car and no further damage has happen Wink

I have been out and polished the red paint off the door, for some reason i have a bottle of polish in my office draw, got my eye down and there is no scratches or dent, so have been very lucky, if the old bat parked a centimetre further over it could have been a dent devils job

so it polished, and has been resealed with Gtechniq C1.5 (as i have that in my car too)

Still have £80 windscreen excess to fork out tomorrow too, they better do it all correctly and not scratch anything too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Its because they are so old and decrepit they cant turn round to look where they are going.
Ive heard a few times people buying a Freelander saying they have never looked back too though. Rolling Eyes

I had a stone chip from hell the other day doing about 70ish on the M25. I say stone chip, I saw a great lump of something come my way. Couldn't tell if it was thrown up or thrown off a bridge. All I know is that it made me jump a little. Wink

I was waiting the for the insurance company to say.. do you think it could be repaired with resin?
