took less than 1 hour, easy enough job to do, if you are at all handy it shouldn't be a problem. There are no special tools required and no special landrover knowledge needed either.R |

Can you give a brief run down on what's involved ? I take it that it's all done on the exterior is it ? I can see what look like mounting points on my roof for the rails to slot in . I'm reasonably handy and the dealer wanted close on £ 400 to fit them so if it's an hour labour and the rails only cost about £150 I know what I'll be doing some time very soon ![]() PS I'm not a big football fan but it was great to see Chelsea get beaten by your lot the other day ![]() |

I fitted a roof kit to my FL2 commercial, with the help of my son in about 1hr 15mins. The only potentially tricky bit is drilling out the chanell covers with a hole saw, but if you line them up carefully it is ok. 2009 Grey HSE Auto

It is a conversion by Nene Overland. I spotted it on their website whilst looking for a previous model commercial as Land Rover dealers were telling me it would be two years before a factory commercial was produced. I test drove the demo model and bought it straight away. The latest edition of Stratstones legend brouchure shows pictures of a factory version, so I think it is about to be released. 2009 Grey HSE Auto

Picked up roof rails tonight (after waiting 4 days for them), got them home and discovered Stealer ordered sun roof kit after telling them NO SUNROOF |

Roof rail fitting is rather easy. Just take your time and follow the instructions. FYI, I had trouble finding a 19mm (or whatever it is) hole drill bit on this side of the pond and a 1 inch hole bit works just as well. |

Roof bars now fitted and look excellent - impossible to find sealant recommended by LR - dealer no help so used silicone. |
