HSE GRILL

Made use of my sons sickness bug and decided to wash the car today instead of going out for the day

Noticed that the silver paint was wearing a bit thin on the grill, Confused

Has anyone else noticed this happen? And what did you do

Replace or respray Question Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

That happened on my old FL2, I put it down to a crap paint finish, come to think of it my D4 had a crap paint finish too Evil or Very Mad

Guessing your right, paint is not the top of the list in what I like about the car

No such problem here. There's only one stone chip in 51,000 miles too.

Much as I liked my old MINI, a simply gave up trying to keep in top of the stone chips and gave up counting!

Stone chips are all over the bonnet but the grill has patches were the paint it do thin there's area of black coming through

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Front of mine is peppered with stone chips and there is silver paint missing on the grill.

If you have stone chips on bonnet and funds allow, maybe respray. 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

Bonnet has chips, white has white primer so not as visible Laughing

It's the fading silver with black showing through on the grill that's more annoying Sad Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
