United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Baltic Blue
Sat Nav Routes and iPhone iPad Maps

If this has been mentioned before then I apologise. If it is just a figment of my imagination then I apologise but .....

I'm on holiday in my caravan and before going out each day I've been looking at routes and distances before going out to the car. The iPhone/iPad comes up with three route choices.

When I'm go out to the car and put the same destination into the (factory) sat nav, it comes up with the same three route choices, so I can make my plans in the caravan before going out into the rain.

This is a real bonus. If it isn't a figment of my imagination!

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Baltic Blue

Have you tried navfree?, don't think it gives 3 choices but seems a good alternative to the factory setup and in my case much more up to date. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

English by birth..... Yorkshire by the grace of God.

Everyone keeps slating iOS6 maps, but as a sat nav so far I've found it seems to make Google Maps look pretty poor!

At least you can use it as a sat nav! Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35
Family's: 2009 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Auto, Stornoway

2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

i have started using a free app. called Waze. Brilliant app that has saved me loads of time. It's social navigation so you have other users warning you of traffic, accidents, police etc. The app can re-route around these obstacles if quicker to do so.

Works on iOS and Android. (Coming) 2016 RR Evoque td4 180 HSE Dynamc
(Going) 2013 TD4 GS Auto - Santorini Black with black leather. Cold Climate, UK Lighting & Armrest Packs. Privacy Glass. LR Rubber Mats. Full size spare.
60 000 miles averaging 35mpg

(Gone) 2010 TD4 Manual GS - Stornoway Grey. Sold at 3yrs old & 64k miles. Final average consumption 39.2mpg.
