Hallo sparkybaz
If you are still looking I have just had the roof rails taken off my 2011 HSE with two sunroofs by the dealer who fitted them by mistake (long story). I only carry stuff once a year so I am going for some Thule cross bars and no rails. So I have a complete set for sale, two roof rails front to back with fixed cross brace and two removable cross bars, all genuine LR accessories. The roof rails have only been on the car since 14 September and the cross bars are unused and haven't been out of the box. I have checked the roofrails in the box as taken off by the dealer. All the fittings and nuts and bolts are there and the roof trims have the holes drilled in them in needed to take the bolts that attach the bars to the roof. I don't have any fitting instructions but you can download them from the web. I am looking for around £290 for the lot, so if you are interested let me know, otherwise I shall be putting them on eBay. I am in Oxfordshire between Swindon and Oxford so if we did agree we would need to sort something out about delivery charge etc.

Regards

Nigel Scott

Speaking of Roof Bars

http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4...p0RLsHjS80 I was looking the other day and it looks like you don't even need Roof Bars as you can get Cross Bars that go straight on, Sure putting a Cycle carrier ontop would be a challenge but looks a hell of a lot cheaper then getting a TowBar system installed... Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual MY11 - 61REG Stratstone Mayfair

...which is exactly the kit I have gone for instead of the rails plus bars. Fine for me as I'm only looking to carrry skis. Rails plus bars better if you want to carry heavy loads as there is a +/- 60kg weight limit on the Thule bars.
