2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Firenze Red
Handbrake not working

FL2 2007 XS

Seems my Handbrake has given up on me Shocked Shocked Shocked
parked on a slope the other day and pulled the Handbrake only to find the car slowly rolling away
I know the Rear Pads are due for a change and have ordered new discs and Pads
Does the FL2 have separate handbrake pads/ shoes
or how can i get the Handbrake adjusted
Meanwhile Parking in Gear Freelander TD4 XS Zermatt Silver Sept 07. twin elec. LR tow bar, mudflaps.

yes, there are separate shoes / pads to the rear.

Most often you will find the shoes are fine, it is just the mechanism that is dirty / clogged up.

Once you have the drums off all will become clear
