Anyone know why several miles of this brand new road managed to flood? surely heads will roll somewhere after this embarrassment.

house and farmstead are on hill top. It that floods then everyone else is 100 ft under.

took the boy to school in the tractor this morning, water was hitting the fan on engine so approaching 3ft deep.

Old boy driving it put on his wellies then the water promptly filled them, I never got out of my tractor, engine dead on merc he seemed to think it would dry out

did the school run again this pm, towed out a new skoda superB, and a 12 reg VW tanny van, reckon I've towed close to £100,000s worth of wrecked cars out of the soup today.
