When I bought my first Apple product in 2003, they were a "cool" company with cachet.

However, I first started to feel uncomfortable with Apple when they started sniping at the PC describing Macs as "fun" (yep, how many top games can run on a Mac?). Over the years they have brought to us some fantastic products and I write this on my iPad.

Massive success has turned Apple into possibly the richest company the world and I worry that the passing of Steve Jobs has caused standards to slip. I can't imagine the maps fiasco being allowed to happen under his watch. Quality may be slipping given the reports of many new iPhones 5s arriving with scratches and this obsession with speculative legal action is in danger of turning the once young cool company into an ugly monster. 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

Making it almost a tradition to bring out a new iPhone each year hasn't helped in this case either.
Apple clearly were not ready for this product to come out.
