Romania 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver
FS - 235/65x17 Goodyear MT/R

As I saw there is a big interest in these tires, I asked the company I bought them from in Romania to see if they have available. Fortunately, they DO. The price stated by the vendor is 890 RON / tire, this would be the equivalent of 158£. VAT is included in this price.

Of course, transport would have to be arranged from Romania to UK... I am not aware right now on the prices or alternatives for this, but I can investigate.

If anyone is interested, please let me know and we can discuss the details.

I'm looking for two of four; but that price would be a little steep for me; if you can drop me a line via PM.. Previous owner of;

No, didn't have the chance. I bought them this spring... But me personally, on snow (on tarmac) i would go with the proper snowflake street tires...

used mine on snow and ice.
They work well on compacted snow, even better in fresh snow.
On ice, its like driving on ice - Censored scary.

The rubber is quite soft so grips well despite having less rubber in contact with the tarmac than my Wrangler road tyres. Not happy with white lines at elevated motorway speeds, but fine at 70mph.

You learn not to treat her like a sports car when on mud tyres in the wet - good news is it's impossible to aquaplane no matter how deep the puddle.
The noise is wonderful, especially with the windows down Very Happy Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

An update - I have found a transport company which caries regular courses from Romania to UK, London area. They can ship these tires at a price of around 25-30 pounds / tire. Therefore, the overall price would be 158+30=188£ per tire, including shippment in London area.

If any of you is interested, please let me know.
