2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Alaska White
Not always cheaper on e-Bay

I am sure this will have been mentioned before but I wanted an engine cover for my TD4 Freelander 2 and looked on e-Bay. I found 2 around £50. This did not sound cheap. I always try to find out how much things cost before buying on e-Bay
A quick call to the local dealer and to my surprise I was told £28+vat so I ordered one. I did worry that I had asked for the correct part but a day later picked it up and perfect.
So it pays to call the dealer before jumping in.
Cheers,
Bob.

Thats so true. Ive seen touch up pens for sale but a longer delay than normal on sending them. Ive checked the price at the dealers only to find them much cheaper.
It dont take much to work out whats going on.

Scotland 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

It's very true. Lost count of the amount of times I've looked at something and checked Amazon or somewhere similar and they're cheaper. Why do people pay more via bidding?

Just don't get it. HSE, td4 - Stornoway Grey - full alpaca interior - 2011 front facelift - privacy glass.
Just added side steps, replaced the yellow side lights & body coloured handle and wing mirror covers. Now for the spoiler!

eBay is a place to pick up bargains, only if you know the true value of the item before hand

Why buy something on eBay with limited warranty, when you could buy it from a shop with warranty for the same price, or as said above cheaper Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Best one I heard, someone put a new fridge freezer outside as when they moved to a new house, one was already in , with a notice on it free to a good home.
4 hrs later still there,
10 mins after they put a sign on it

"For Sale £60"

it was gone and no one saw anything ...!!! Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Wales
