Don't know if anyone can help but my wife was driving car today when the ETC warning came on the dashboard. She drove the car back home and called me,I asked her to go back to car and start engine to see if it was still on but light has now gone off? Any idea as to what this might be.

If ETC is actviated then it will briefly illuminate the DSC warning lamp. It may be that DSC was turned off which would result in the DSC off symbol appearing, it would be automatically turned on again the next time the vehicle was started which could explain why there was no light on when it was restarted.

Came on and stayed on? Or just flickered briefly? If the former it could be early signs of a dodgy abs sensor... Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints |

Or maybe she just simply thrashed it around a few corners? Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |
