Mojo: Might be too late but there is a black box fitted to Freelander which records information immeidately prior to an accident - it can only be accessed by a Dealer with your permission but might prove that you were stationary at the time of the accident.

Also the other party is committing perjury by stating a falsehood and often the threat of seeing him in Court is enough to 'persuade' him to retaract his false statement. Report him to local Police and see what they say. I seem to recall Honest John in the Telegraph doing something along these lines not too long ago.

With the g force sensor graph it can tell what sort of impact and whether you were moving or not by GPS.

This happened to someone on another forum at a set of lights and the guy who was hit from behind had the exact same issue, except for the fact that he had an in car camera fitted. produced the evidence in court and the rear car driver was prosecuted for several offences and fined £800 !!!! I must add to say that the rear car driver did sign an affidavid to claim the driver in front had reversed into him !

Insurance companies are looking to bail out with a 50/50 claim all the time now as i found when i was hit whilst parked ! that what made me buy a Roadhawk in the first place.
