Hi all, ive got a really annouying rattle on the passenger side of the dash. Theres a few posts on here about a bolt that holds the air intake, if loose it causes a rattle. Ive tightend the bolt but still have a rattle. It comes and goes but is normally happens on a bumpy road and between 1500-1800 revs. Anyone any ideas? Also, is it something that can be fixed under warrenty? I know that sounds a daft question! Ive had the car from June and i love driving it. only downside is the rattle!

Hi, I also have this rattle and have played with the position of the wiring loom behind the glove box, which comes out very easily, and it appears to have gone.

Everything around the glove box area looks secure, i'll check out the battery cover and wiring loom. My car is two years old and done 30000 miles, if i cant sort the rattle i'll see what the dealer says. Its a shame, I had an Audi A4 that was 6 years old and done 70000 miles and not a ratle could be heard! |

Had a rattle that sounded like it was from the dash.... could not find it anywhere. Then held onto the rear view mirror and found the it was comming from that. Dealer could not fix it so now every so often the mirror gets a squeze and it goes away for a while. |

Removed the lens, from the passenger side indicator on the side vent, you'll see a bolt, that will most likely be loose

Just to necro an old thread, have been battling for some time / years!! with sorting out the air intake bolt rattle, the one behind the small grille on the n/s front wing. Anyway recently no amount of attention sorted this and the annoying rattle apparently behind the left hand side of the dash continued between 1500-1800 rpm ish.
