Athelstan has just left the forum and some members have expressed dismay at his leaving and some of the comments posted particularly by the moderators who have now locked the topic.
If people can't stand criticism then they should question their own position rather than arbitrarily lock out any further discussion. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

there must be "rules" in all forums and it is up to the moderators who police the forum to ensure that these "rules" are adhered to.

forum members may agree or disagree with their decisions, but at the end of the day without moderators the forum would become a shambles and members would leave anyway and join other forums.

The man (Athelstan) posted the original message in "Events" as, I suppose, considered his departure as an Event. Which it was, considering that he was an active member - see his number of messages and his contribution to the forum.
Than I saw that the topic was moved to Off-Topic... strange, but no comment...
Then I saw the thread was locked... even stranger...
Then the topic was hidden/deleted... now I am puzzled...

My new post was a Goodbye 2 in response to npinks original reply that I cannot "take" comments directed against me.

He, like all weak personalities tries to laugh off the truth. Sad, and his readiness to use the censorship button does no credit to the this forum.

When people fall out in clubs and forums, it invariably leads to another club or forum starting up.
Look at all the clubs for instance for the Ford car range, half a dozen for the same car, someone has a falling out ith someone else so they think I will start another better version, doesnt really make sense as if they all stuck together and worked to overcome their differences you would have only the one, one hell of a club and a mass of invaluble resource of information in one place, instead of it being scattered all over the place and also costing a fortune as to get the best of everything you then have to join up with a multitude of clubs.
