Well bought this 3 weeks ago and going through some subtle mods (Sides steps , clear indicators , chrome mirror covers , chrome door handle covers ,stainless steel tweeter covers inside , stainless steel step protectors , rear spoiler , front wind deflectors , chrome boot handle cover) i think its looking better now , got HST grill coming tomorrow , and new badges .... oh and Blue LED bulbs for footwells

Car looks lovely but could do with a few more pics. Hmmmmmm blue footwell bulbs eh ? Never thought of that but now ..........

I`ll add some more pics over next few days when i get HST grill on and new badges , and yeah i think the blue footwell bulbs will be nice and subtle , and thinks with winter approaching/getting darker earlier, they `ll show up more (like we had a summer !)

I wanted the Black and silver Land Rover badges but freelander 2 badges are bigger than the rest .. grr ... I think Disco ones are nearest size ill see what they look like when fitted

Okay dokay , well fitted the HST grill , blue LEDS in Footwells , LED sidelights today , which are a b*tch ... ending up removing headlamps to fit them as its so easy , rather than trying to squeeze your hand in to change them and another addition .. the stainless cover to go over the plastic bit on top of bumper , actually think it makes a huge difference , (didnt think it would) ... oh and rebadged as a LR 2 just to be different

Looks really nice.

I am thinking about smartening up the door handles, are the chrome handles clip on type over covers or completely new handles ? I'm not sure whether to go for chrome or body coloured handles.

All the chrome stuff just sticks on with 3M tape (even handles) as long as its prepared properly , either with proper wipe or i used Nail varnish remover , prepares it very nicely , and wont come off without prising very hard.


have a look on that magical place called the Bay of E , you can get chrome or body coloured very cheaply
