Evoke - discounting now on

Down in the valley this afternoon I passed the one and only local garage. He sells direct imports - normally Kia, Jeep and Fiat at large discounts - he gets them from a German dealer.

This afternoon however he has an Evoke on the forecourt so I just couldn't help poking my nose around the corner of his office as he's one of the few decent chaps around here. Ewoke I said just for a laugh to break the ice. He didn't understand (no surprise) so I spent a couple of funny minutes in an exchange over Star Wars etc.

Anyway to cut to the chase he can now get Evokes off the shelf (cheapest) or to order at a significant discount over the official Swiss LR prices. Quite easy I suppose if you have the right contacts in Germany as the local Swiss price tag just like all LR models are very expensive indeed. he one on the forecourt in a bronze color is €14k cheaper than the Swiss price. At those margins it won't be there for long Shocked

So what's going on with Evoke that a German dealer is prepared to sell'em off to matey boy below. Is the star now in the descent...........
