analogue clock?

"...and I like the analogue clock". ?? ... Did I miss that detail in the vid? I prefer an analogue clock but I didn't catch that in the video, even pausing it...

where's this filmed? the road sign reads "xxxxUMHANN" (can't make out the start of the sign). Looks a nice place. Drive on RHS? ...

Rather like the changes on the 2013 model and sorely tempted....

Anyone have a proper manual from LR yet - or know where can see those new colours properly? Don't like that blue - or any of the existing blues for that matter.

Prices/details for the reversing/hitching camera? Freelander 2 SD4 HSE - Ipanema Sand - MD co-pilot - Springer Spaniel in boot - Swift Challenger on the back!

Looks like the road north of Ullapool towards Ledmore. The bridge looks like Kyelesku (apologies for our Hibernian/Pict brethren if I splet it wrong). Stunning roads around there; drove them in my FL1 1.8 and loved it.

The bridge certainly is Kylesku bridge, the roads north of there are also similar, I don't know of a place name shown in the video on the partial sign.
Beautiful area though, glad Land Rover used home turf, the last brochure was full of pictures from (east) German cities.

If it's filmed in UK, why the LHD and driving on t'wrong side of the road? Confused ...

Same video used to launch the MY13 LR2 in North America and they'd be confused if it was on our side of the road.

Car manufacturers always use LHD vehicles, they simply sell more of them.

Usually have number plates that can be reversed too, the last brochure was a LHD car that was reversed on the pictures, some of the interior shots show RHD with the heater controls the wrong way round.

Can't find the article again, but I read somewhere that the electric handbreak was an option, that gives you an extra cubby hole, so maybe old fashioned ones are still available for the time being...

Let's just hope they don't go the way of the analog clock in my former Saab and develop a distracting tick-tock sound after a few years. Mr. Green Twisted Evil CAR HISTORY

I think the changes are all positive (sans the electric handbrake). I do, however, like the rotary Terrain Response selector a bit more. Gives it more prominence in the cabin, and feels a bit more substantial considering the task it performs. CAR HISTORY

That tick-tock was SAAB's own countdown to its own demise. It is a pity that they did not put to good use such perceptive forethought to have developed truly class leading vehicles to keep the business alive. Clearly they weren't really Swedes, but Turnips in drag. Confused

Read somewhere that there are also different centre screens depending on what spec you go for, its a five inch screen with the basic 11 speaker sound system and a seven inch screen with the meriden 18 speaker monster
