MOT isn't due til October.

My LR dealer has quoted £352 inc vat for a 3rd year service on my HSE Auto which is due in September. Does this seem reasonable taking into account the inevitable price increases since this thread began? 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

Reasonable quote for a dealer and its a price I would go with whilst still in warranty.
Don't forget an additional charge is the brake fluid change (every 3 years) if you decide to take the option.

Had a quote from Sturgess , who always did my FL1 servicing , £349 inc brake fluid change . I think thats as cheap as my FL1 3 years ago. They will either do a collection or courtesy car , I am going for the car. Drop off night before collect next day .

Well pleased with service from Sturgess . Total cost for service /brake fluid and MOT £349. Also got to try RRS as the loan car and watch the fuel gauge drop!

I've just booked mone in at Copley Landrover in Halifax and their original price was £345 but I mentioned I could get it for £275 so they have price matched! Result! Only odd thing for me is that I've only done 29480 miles and yet they are doing the 45k service!

my hse has done 10k and is 3yrs old in a few months ,is it worth paying for a service just before the warranty runs out at 10k!.

I have just been quoted £500 for 3rd year service including BF change and MOT by Taggarts Glasgow who would not negotiate! Car has done 29k should I take it to my local garage?

When it comes to dealer prices then £320-£350 seems 'reasonable' , add £70 (approx) for brake fluid change and £40 (approx) for MOT and you aren't too far short of your quote.
Personal opinion but for another years dealer stamp I would go with it.

I recently had my 3rd service and brake fluid change done for 215 quid at Parkside garage in Huddersfield. Mick the owner is LR trained having worked at Rocar Mores and has 20 years experience with LR's. He also cleaned and adjusted my hand brake for 30 quid, it holds solid now on the third click.
