I think the market will be split on this one... I quite like the changes but shouldn't range rover be the premium brand? I do also prefer the current model central controls.

It's now going to be priced the same as the evoke by the looks of it... Glad that the changes don't include any engine tech, that will save resale on the previous models, so all good for at least the next 3 years.

It still starts at £4k less than the Evoque.

LR had to do something as the X3 and Q5 were looking like more modern and up market cars. The Evoque is not in either of these class's so the Freelander had to be upgraded.

I think they have done an excellent job of it. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Certainly a worthwhile facelift, I am also pleased that it is not too radical, I would have been in a quandry to change earlier.

Also, Moscow Motor Show launch, I think says a lot about the stronger markets, the brand is going from strength to strength and long may it continue.

Love the front and rear lights - puts the finishing touches to an already excellent looking exterior.

I think they have done an excellent job internally to include alot of the design currently in the RRS. The screen between the dials is long overdue as is the inclusion of the audio info into the satnav screen The central dials mirror those fitted in the current RRS and are from my own experience of driving my gaffers RRS autobiography easy to use, I just wish they had put the RRS heater control knobs on instead of sticking with the old ones, the RRS ones give you an LED readout on the knob telling you what you have adjusted the temperature to.

Electric parking brake..... hmmm call me old fashioned but i prefer a lever.

Would be nice to see some shots between the front seats to see what they have actually done with the centre section, looks like one big retractable covered storage bin rather than a centre armrest.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WHERE IS THE GRIPPY MAT IN FRONT OF THE SATNAV SCREEN????
