Today I got a letter from Land Rover where they are recalling my car due to there has been discovered that a limited number of cars may have some fault with the opening-mechanism on the sun-roof.

I havent experienced any problems with my sun-roof, but on the other hand it isn't exactly the sun-roof season here either. So I havent used it much.

The letter says: Code P009. Anyone knows what that means?

Anyone noticed any problems with their sun-roof?

Anyway, I have scheduled to get it fixed next Tuesday.

I assume this applies to cars manufactured around the end of November, when my baby was born. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.

This is the same subject as been covered under General - SUNROOF RECALL  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

What concerns me is this: LR isn't fixing the problem in production dates impacted go from 1/11/06 to 12/1/08. what the but it does have a VIN range.. so I guess they know the last VIN of the year at this point
