I don't have any wires exposed ! mounting tucked neatly at top of screen, camera on left side of mirror, just clears and not visible from outside.
Wiring tuck under roof lining and behind side pillar trim, behind door rubber seal and plugged into auxuliary socket that i fitted. Has two power supplies, one live all the time and one just when engine running.
If I park in tesco's car park I leave camera running.
I have also had three people successfully prosecuted, one for bad driving, one for vandalism and someone hit a parked car in tescos and drove off and i caught it on camera !

The RH 1 is a very sorted piece of kit.
It records your speed via GPS and XYZ axis G forces so can measure if your braking, accelerating or swerving.
It also has a capacitor built in so once its running if you were involved in a serious accident where the power is cut the camera carries on recording for ten seconds.
It also has a sensor built in that when it detects an incident it records at 25fps and locks it onto an SD cars so it cant be over written until you clear the files.

Saved my bacon once when accused of jumping a red traffic light in west London.
The footage was still on my SD card and frame by frame I was able to prove i drove over on Amber.
I think the copper was a little eager shall we say. fortunately with time and date and mapping etc it proved where i was.
RH Thumbs Up
